Twenty-eight years, one address.
The garage opened in 1998 with one bay, one lift and a diary kept in pencil. The first customers came from the street outside; the next ones came because the first ones sent them. That is still how most people find us.
The second bay came in 2009, along with the four-post lift and the habit of photographing worn parts before phoning a quote through. The paperwork got neater; the principle did not change.
Cars changed more in the last ten years than the previous thirty, so the training kept pace: diagnostics kit renewed on schedule, and hybrid-system certification added in 2021 so the newer cars on the road here have somewhere local to go.
What has not changed: a written price before work starts, old parts on the bench at collection, and the same faces at the desk year after year.
